Judges for Investment Week’s first “Women in Investment” Awards 2017 announced Featured

The judges for the first Investment Week “Women in Investment” Awards have just been released. They include major players from the asset management industry.

The aim of the awards is to recognise the achievements of women in the very male dominated investment sector.

Categories for which women can be nominated include Rising Star Role Model of the Year, Supporting Diversity, Award for Supporting Returners (from maternity leave), and Contribution to Gender Diversity Award. 

According to Investment Week the judges will include: Bev Shah, founder and CEO of City Hive, Liz Field, chief executive of the Personal Investment Management and Financial Advice Association, Will Goodhart, chief executive of CFA UK and a member of the Diversity Project, and Liz Adnitt, sales director at Sanlam FOUR, have all agreed to join the judging panel, while Deborah Benn, a financial journalist who previously edited Incisive Media´s International Investment magazine will chair the panel.” 

Other judges include Julius Persaill, independent pension and investment governance specialist, Annabel Brodie-Smith, communications director at the Association of Investment Companies (AIC), James Charrington, non-executive chairman for BlackRock EMEA, BNY Mellon IM head of marketing Anne-Marie McConnon, as well as Investment Week editor Katrina Lloyd.

The award ceremony is being held on Wednesday 29th November at One Great George Street, in London.
Closing Date for nominations is 4th September 2017.
